Grantum Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Pumpkin Health mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. We use Firebase Authentication to securely manage user accounts.
Pet Health Data
We collect pet health information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Pet profiles (name, type)
- Daily health logs (vomiting, bowel movements, food intake)
- Weight entries and history
- Custom tracker data
Usage Data
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as screen views and feature interactions. This helps us improve the App experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Store and display your pet health data
- Enable pet profile sharing with other users you authorize
- Send transactional emails (password resets, email verification)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared in the following circumstances:
- Pet sharing: When you invite another user to access your pet's profile, they can view that pet's health data.
- Service providers: We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, data storage, and analytics. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing of data.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication — user account management
- Cloud Firestore — data storage
- Firebase Analytics — anonymized usage analytics
These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information and pet health data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
7. Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can delete your account from within the App in Settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data and pet health records from our systems. You may also request data deletion by contacting us at support@grantumlabs.com.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
